Renovations to unregistered homes or those with contested permits are on hold pending court clarification. Ask the professional to check the house's status at ZRPP (the Office of the National Territorial Planning) before starting work — this is a good practice that protects you from work on structures that might be demolished. Do not hire professionals who start work without verifying legal status.
Practically not within the same day. In June–August, hydraulic or electrical emergencies in Ksamil wait on average 6–18 hours (vs 3–8 hours in Durres).
