If you are into local history this place has a lot of really cool stuff, both inside and outside the house. The exterior is free, but to see the interior is a very small fee. We enjoyed it, but with the entire house was open and they could use better lighting on lower level exhibits.

I think this is the only Ottoman house in Shkodër that you can visit. The ‘hayat’ (entrance/courtyard) section downstairs has been turned into a small archaeology museum. Upstairs, there’s a home layout that reflects the Ottoman period. There’s a closed kiosk (köşk) in the corner. The ‘sofa’ section, which has an open terrace, is quite spacious. This feature was also found in other Albanian houses. I expected Shkodër to have more historic streets and houses, but I couldn’t find anything besides this house.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Charming tiny museum with no other visitors there when we visited on a rainy afternoon. The worker was very kind. There isn’t too much to see, but it was still wonderful nonetheless.
