The Old Bazaar gives you the restored houses, the cobbles and the restaurants under the window—and their noise at night in summer; Republika boulevard and the streets around it have larger hotels, with parking and lifts. For a weekend as a visitor, the Bazaar; with a car and luggage, the boulevard.
Dardha has the slope and the village guesthouses in the snow; Korça has the hotels, the restaurants and the cleared road, and is close enough to go and come back in a day. On winter weekends both fill up—book from the profile and ask about heating and parking in snow.
